It seems strange that in just one Decade Bush and Obama could bring the Strongest Secular Democracy in the Mideast to a state of ruin.
The most amazing part is Obama actually got a Peace Prize for destroying Iraq.
BTW what ever happened to the 18000 Iraqi students that were attending US colleges. Did they find another Country to study Medicine and Science in. Or did they become bitter regional guerrilla fighters. What did Saddam Husein have, that neither Obama or Bush could attain to provide Peace and Prosperity to Iraqis?I do not like this Uncle Sam, I do not like his health care scam.
I do not like these dirty crooks, or how they lie and cook the books.
I do not like when Congress steals, I do not like their secret deals.
I do not like this speaker, Nan, I do not like this 'YES WE CAN.'
I do not like this spending spree, I'm smart; I know that nothing's free.
I do not like your smug replies, when I complain about your lies. I do not like this kind of hope.
I do not like it, nope, nope, nope!|||I suppose if the democratic structure in place today permitted the wholesale slaughter of dissidents (often in particularly gruesome ways), the current environment in Iraq could be just as peaceful (i.e. oppressed and repressed) as it was prior to the US intervention. What did Saddam Husein have, that neither Obama or Bush could attain to provide Peace and Prosperity to Iraqis?Fear. If you lived in a dictatorship, I'm sure you'd be a little more frightened of government, too. I wouldn't exactly call Hussein's rule "peace and prosperity" though. He killed thousands of people.|||Large guns, ruthless tactics and an effective propaganda machine. What did Saddam Husein have, that neither Obama or Bush could attain to provide Peace and Prosperity to Iraqis?Democracy? What kind of democracy is it when you have a choice of Hussein or the graveyard?|||He had an iron grip on his country.|||The 'stache.
