My eye is the size of a golf ball. How do I get the swelling to go down?

So I have a terrible case of poison ivy, which is causing my right eye to swell tremendously. My eye is currently the size of a golf ball, and my other eye is starting to swell too. I keep ice on it whenever I can, I've been taking prednizone for two days now, but my eye just seems to be getting bigger. What should I do?My eye is the size of a golf ball. How do I get the swelling to go down?I had surgery done on my nose and ice really helped me reduce the swelling. Try getting those eye masks that have gel in them (which you pop in the freezer), and gently put it over your eyes every hour or so. That helped me a lot. Swelling went down in a couple of days.

But since yours is caused by poison ivy, I would suggest consulting a doctor before trying anything on your own. Call up and ask about whether ice is alright to use or not. He/she can also give you medication to help.

Good luck! xxMy eye is the size of a golf ball. How do I get the swelling to go down?see a doctor and he might prescribe some medication for you.My eye is the size of a golf ball. How do I get the swelling to go down?Go back to the doctors. This isn't a good place to be getting help for that kind of thing bc most of the people on here dont know what they're talking about.|||GO TO THE DOCTOR!!!!
