I have a golf club that is good but I don't use the club that it's on. And the golf club I do use have a bad grip. How can I remove the good grip without cutting it? ThanksHow to Remove a golf grip without cutting it?This question has been answered before. Search the archives. You can use a needle to inject solvent, (it's not as dangerous as Lefty says.) or you can use a tool to pry the grip from the shaft as you pour in solvent. (haven't tried that one) or my favorite is to inject compressed air in the little hole in the end of the grip. Does not always work, but when it does it is really slick. The grip just slides off on cushion of air.How to Remove a golf grip without cutting it?There is a very dangerous way that involves injecting solvent into the grip with a syringe. If done correctly, it is very effective. If done wring, you will stab yourself with a needle and inject the most horrible and painful thing ever into yourself!
I highly recommend just cutting it off or regripping your other one.How to Remove a golf grip without cutting it?Either injecting solvent with a needle and pump into the top of the grip and work it down until it can slide off.
OR
You can use an air compressor. Place a plastic tube that covers the whole grip. then use the compressor to shoot air through the but end of the grip. Depending on the age of the grip it can explode(that is what the plastic tube is for).
Both methods are fairly simple and can be done at most pro shops.
If you attempt this yourself make sure the club is secured in a vice!|||Get your golf pro to do this for you. It costs little or nothing and you know it will be done right.
