How can an international player play college golf in the US?

I'm from Melbourne, Australia and i want to play college golf. I have a 9 handicap and im in year 8.How can an international player play college golf in the US?keep practicing and lower your handicap to around scratch. then enter tournaments that are internationally ranked when you get into high school. you need to send a resume to all the schools in the U.S. that you're interested in playing at once you get into high school. coaches e-mail addresses will be available on the school's website. you will probably here back from them and you can start sending them your tournament schedule and all of your finishes. there are tons of Australians playing college golf in the U.S. right now and coaches are looking for talent there so don't let the distance deter you. i have a very good friend thats from Australia and he is one of the top players at Texas Tech. i think the University of Wisconsin has 4 or 5 Australians on their team. just keep practicing and let the coaches in the U.S. know whats going on with your game. How can an international player play college golf in the US?need to get into a US college. good luckHow can an international player play college golf in the US?I agree with Seth's comments ... with the addition that if you also have good grades, you could get into some of the better colleges that also have golf teams.

Note, however, that scholarships in the "minor" sports (not football or basketball) like golf are often not "full ride" scholarships, but cover only part of the tuition or other considerable expenses.
