What are the benefits to winning a golf major?

When you win a golf major, aren't there a whole bunch of prizes and recognitions you receive? I know there's a money prize, and that you get invited to all the other majors..and apparently there's a dinner that you have to host, but is there anything else? A golfer who wins a major plays in the Grand Slam of Golf that is held in Bermuda. Tiger would only play if he wins a major. He didn't play in the past 3 Grand Slams of Golf even though he won majors. He was injured this past year, but the last 2 he didn't play in. Other perks for winning majors is a 5 year exemption on the PGA tour. So if you don't win a tournament the following year, you automatically keep your card since you won a major. That helps. You win certain majors and you'll host a dinner(The Masters: You get to choose the cuisine for the dinner the following year and have dinner with past winners). During the first 2 rounds of the PGA Championship, the winners of the first 3 majors play in the same group. I don't know how much of a perk that is, but it is something only 3 people can do a year. You may get the opportunity to do different appearances at certain events unrelated to the PGA Tour.
