Under bush unemployment was 4.5% so it has doubled and may triple and the real unemployment is around 17-20%. People aren't going to hire if it cost to much to employ a person.

Obama wants the government to take over all Business like GM, Health-care, Health care Ins, student loans and the banks. He's increased the cost of doing business for everyone due to his healthcare bill at a time that the economy is weak. He's also raised everyone's taxes by not renewing the Bush tax cuts, thereby drying up investment money. In addition, he's villified American businessmen (Chamber of Commerce), attacked Wall Street workers (America's finance), alienated states (Nevada, Arizona), mocked bankers, crucified the oil industry, and completely locked Republicans out of any debate.|||Overall, they have been since the first quarter after the stimulus bill. Of course, the jobs have not come back yet, just as in the last recession. The depth of the recession dictates how long it will take to pull out, and this was one was a VERY hard fall. Wall St.'s Dow has almost doubled and there is positive growth for the third quarter since the negatives ended.
