Do you feel the Stimlus plan will work? Obama has good intentions, but do the others?

In all my years I never knew a president that was close to people feeling as Obama has shown. There were other presidents that were good but Obama talks with his heart. He shows he is strong and he amits he is not perfect, I just hope people will work with him and not always give him a hard time. Greed cause these problems, not till some people in high places get that in there head and when one person does wrong it hurts so many it is a domino theory.Do you feel the Stimlus plan will work? Obama has good intentions, but do the others?I hope it works. I realize that no genius of an economist can accurately tell whether everything will work out as planned. But President Obama's efforts to try do something about the economy is honorable and decidedly better than not doing anything. If half of the stimulus works out, I think that would be fair enough. Of course Obama haters will argue that George Bush's policies all worked......lmao.|||The so-called stimulus plan will not work, it is simply a cover for all of Obama's financial gift-giving to his supporters and lobbyists, and the special interest groups he said he would not support.



Sarah Palin had nothing to do with this, Reagan is dead, and Bush is gone. Now it's time for the Obama Administration to start actual work. Placing blame is fine, but pointless. Now it's time to get down to business. Placing blame while strutting around is not going to accomplish anything.



"Change we can believe in, yes we can." Then start living up to those words and DO something for the people that voted for you. Only 7% of it is going to get new jobs for people. Oh yeah, he is so for the people. He puts blame on others. He makes exceptions for bad people. He does what is good for him at the moment. Yes, this crisis is due to greed, but his greed now is not going to work. The greed came from "little people" like you and I buying needs rather then wants.|||If Obama spoke with his heart, he'd talk about how evil America is, because that's the environment he's been soaked in for the past few decades. This guy's a world-class phony, and if you place all your trust in him, you're going to be disappointed. He's a politician. He gets paid to be a good talker.



As for the stimulus plan, it didn't work when FDR tried it, but maybe history will magically change for Obama. I wouldn't bet on it, though.Do you feel the Stimlus plan will work? He's got his own agenda, and if you look in his eyes.....he's angry and power hungry.|||It will not work. The only way that the economy will rebound is if it is rebuilt from within. This will require (among other things) abandonment of the current corporate model. I think this will happen and we will headed for more private ownership of companies rather than the 'publically owned' company. We will be just fine in spite of the government.|||Ok...so you think this recession was left for him due to other's "Greed"



What about all the pet projects and BS that are in his supposed "stimulus package"??



He's a politician...just like any other...he'll tell you what you want to hear and then he'll spend 50 billion of our tax dollars to by hybrid cars for city workers...or a few million for new furniture for the department of defense....or reverse a law that will now allow billions to go to mexico to fund abortions...



He's screwing us....but what's worse...is he's also screwing our children and our grand children with this pork bill...
