Why does Obama want to increase the number of federal soldiers by the thousands?

On Obama's campaign Web site it says, "Barack Obama supports plans to increase the size of the Army by 65,000 soldiers and the Marines by 27,000 troops. The policy also discusses building up "special operations forces, civil affairs, information operations, and other units...." Why will he need such a large army?

Why does Obama want to increase the number of federal soldiers by the thousands?because he will need a lot of troops to confiscate the guns of all the Americans who own them. He is in fact planning a whole new federal domestic police force to do this. Oh he says it is to fight domestic terrorism but you don't need but 2 to 5 thousand specially trained swat guys for that.

he didn't institute a draft even though we are in 2 wars

Obama would like to be able to shorten the tours of duty of those who have been serving. He doesn't plan on withdrawing troops from Iraq in a less than orderly fashion and he wants to finally get the terrorists who are operating out of Afghanistan.|||The latest news the reverse may happen. Obama already said he wanted to cut the military expenses, some Democrats want a 25% cut. The quality and quanity of people and equipment will be going down and not up.|||Communist takeovers are always followed by troops and disappearances!|||His friend Hugo Chavez from Venezuela advised him get a bigger military. |||Because he knows the people in this country will never give into socialism and eventually communism. But that's okay, cause it doesn't matter how large he intends to make the military, a true American will never defend him or his socialistic policies It is UN-American.

The very army he he increases will rebel against him, not fight for him. I have faith in this country and our people|||Obama is chicken!



He also thinks that by providing jobs through the Government he can tax small businesses to death!
