How do you feel about Obama being a celebrity?

Paparazzi has got Obama tagged. Where is the respect for the presidents privacy. If he keeps seeing his face on magazines and inside them just walking on the streets he will start worrying more about how he looks and what he is doing to entertain the kids other then running the country! How do you feel about Obama being a celebrity?I think he is an idiot.|||If you think back.. McCain tried that juvenile approach during the campaign, when he tried comparing Obama to Paris Hilton.

My first thought when I heard that ad was that it was like a whiny kid, griping that someone was more popular than him...instead of a valid candidate for President, who should have been talking about real issues and how he could solve them.

McCain just kept going down hill from there.

The idea is as stupid now as it was then. How do you feel about Obama being a celebrity?Reagan was all celebrity and no substance. That was a formula for disaster. Obama is more substance than celebrity. That is a formula for change we need.|||Not a celebrity. What he is going for is Infamous.

Famous is good.

Infamous is famous for bad reasons. How do you feel about Obama being a celebrity?Fine

But to me, he is the President of the United States.

The "celebrity" title can rest with those who chose to label him that way.|||It's the only thing he has going for him other than a wife who doesn't like America --- that might benefit him one day|||He is a Harvard Law graduate.

I think he can handle it|||Since when have U.S. citizens ever respected our presidents?

I'd be more concerned for Obama's kids being in the spotlight. Excessive media is bad for children, I mean, look what's it's done to child celebrities. (Of course, that doesn't mean that the Obama's girls are going to be traumatized or anything, but still.)

I care more about what Obama is doing, in relation to the government, than how frequently he goes to church and about his dog.
