How come many people think Obama is president already?

I can understand people being unable to find Washington DC on a map, or thinking that Africa is a country in the Middle East, but come on!



All the networks keep making clear Obama is only president elect and won't take the position until middle January. How come many people think Obama is president already?He's not??? |||I cannot understand anyone not being able to find D.C. on the map or thinking that Africa is a country in the Middle East.



That being said, I think people are just sick of the current administration and eager to move on from it like a bad dream, regardless of when the inauguration actually is. How come many people think Obama is president already?The people who voted for him also thought he was pro-life, his running mate was Sarah Palin and he was in favor of winning he war in Iraq before we brought the troops home. They voted for him because he is a masterful, eloquent speaker and they have no idea what comes next. He is the charming prince in Cinderella. Once the clock struck midnight on election night, everything changed.|||There's so much pressure on this guy to perform that they assume he should already be making major changes. He's been credited with every downfall that's happened in the country since his election. We all know he starts in January - some people just use whatever they can to make him appear invalid and unqualified.How come many people think Obama is president already?Because the "messiah" is already ACTING like he's president by FORCING colleges to go to a playoff system.|||Same reason people think being impeached means being thrown out of office. If they don't think knowing the facts are relevant to their lives, then they'll fail to make proper distinctions.|||I dont know its been made very clear even by obama he isnt president until January 20, 2009|||He has taken front stage ever since was nominated by his party. The Democrats have never had the respect for our real President.|||If you can understand the first statement you made, it explains clearly the second.|||Obama el bueno|||Because most are as ignorant now as when they elected him in the first place.
