How Many Would Expatriate If Obama Were to (unbelievably enough) Win the Presidency?

How many Americans are there out there who would expatriate if Obama were to (amazingly and outrageously enough) win the presidency?

Obama supporters: Expatriate means to renounce one's citizenship and leave a country. How Many Would Expatriate If Obama Were to (unbelievably enough) Win the Presidency?I would consider it.|||Hopefully, as many as we can get rid of!How Many Would Expatriate If Obama Were to (unbelievably enough) Win the Presidency?Obama winning isn't so outrageous, it's very believable. What's unbelievable is if McCain wins when the Repukes ratings are so low.|||Not renounce my citizenship, but in the next 4 years I would not be on American soil very much of the timeHow Many Would Expatriate If Obama Were to (unbelievably enough) Win the Presidency?See ya'll, we won't miss you. Anybody that would do this doesn't understand how our country works.

I would not.|||They suck if they do leave!

Because there is nothing like america

SO obama haters go ahead %26amp; Expatriate you will be back sooner or later|||None. He would be extremely ineffective unless a hundred million die hard socialists just recently invaded which is possible I suppose.|||My husband and I have been searching for a new country since this whole thing began to unfold a couple months ago. Any suggestions.|||hell most likely win the nomination but the general election will be close|||I used to say that I would move to New Zealand if Clinton were to win. Now I have added another name. I will move to New Zealand if either Clinton or Obama should win the presidency. Both of these candidates believe in socialism, not democracy.

I am voting for McCain. He is the only qualified and prepared candidate to lead our country during this difficult time.|||If I had the money I would. But by the grace of God he won't win. I think Hillary will win the nomination, McCain will win the presidency and Obama will be toast, burnt toast.|||The thought has already crossed my mind. I'm glad I'm not the only one.|||If that man wins the November election, I will pack up my family and move to Canada where I will be safe from terrorist attacks and not have to put up with being ashamed to live in a country who was stupid enough to elect a man who clearly wants change....change into racial wars. That would be totally unacceptable and I don't want my family to have to experience that kind of nonsense between terrorist attacks. AlQaeda will attack us if that man wins because they perceive him weak like Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter so I don't want no part of it. Want to know how to tell who binLaden's crew wants to win? CNN reported that 80% of people living overseas wants Obama to win. That just speaks volumes to me.|||Our electoral process is such that we can IMMEDIATELY call for a recall election, or a recount till helll freezes over, or an impeachment, and more. I'd stick around because since I'm too old to participate in a lot of the demonstrations we did in the late 1960's, I am now smart enough and wise enough to engage in structured American political processes, and I will, wholeheartedly. God Bless you.|||this is the dumbest thing I have ever heard...why would you even post a question like this? get a life.|||I would give him a year to run my country into the ground, just to make absolutely sure I'm not jumping the gun, then move. If he wins I'm sure this will happen.|||You would have to get out before he requires you to sacrifice your paycheck for his "change".|||If they can get any country willing to take them, I'd be happy to say goodbye to anyone not wanting to work together to try to make America even greater.

And I hope the first to go would be those who condescend to define words to those of us who have no need of their patronizing "assistance."|||Why wait ? Just go now you cowards. I'm sure Mexico would love to have you. Or maybe Iraq, go now and teach the rest of us a lesson. America will be a better place without you.|||Probably about 10% or so would yap and yammer and say they are going to leave if a ***.... got elected but putting their money where their mouth is, I would bet that not one would actually leave. Where would they go? Cuba? Nicaragua? Mexico? China? ha ha ha...........it is very, very difficult to change countries and you must answer lots and lots of questions and show proof of ability to support yourself. As far as I can determine, other than Canada, the countries don't want expatriates, especially if they think there is some chance they will have to be supported by whatever government is involved.

Sure, some wealthy people may decide to sit out four years of the Democraps outside the USA but they will still be taking the money from Social Security and yapping and yammering while they are there, and they would be there regardless of who is in office.|||Why would one even think about leaving?

Having a "knee jerk" reaction his winning isn't going to make your life any better. Consider the following before you take such drastic actions.

1. The length of the term is only 4 years. If he doesn't do what he says he's going to do, he'll be a one term president.

2. We need to also remember that, the many things he wants to do can only be done with congressional approval. Example, change the tax rates, universal heath care, treaties, etc, etc.

2. If his religion is a concern bear in mind, those same concerns existed when JFK (a Roman Catholic) sought the presidency in 1960. At the time many thought his religion would influence his actions, and we all know that it didn't.

3. His lack of experience dealing with Congress and on the world stage will quickly become known. As will the results of any terrorist acts in the US.

Have a little more faith in our system of government and most of all the PEOPLE of the USA. After all, the grass somewhere else might not be as green as one might think.

Signed,

A white, middle-aged male, conservative with sanity!|||If McCain wins you should start learning Chinese. We are going bankrupt in case you didn't notice.|||Ignorance and hate didn't run Jesus out of town!

I love my country, no matter how far it may be from right or perfection! If is a big word to only be two letters, if a frog had wings it wouldn't go around bumping its a__ on the ground!!!

Another words, Obama is not going to win! I wouldn't abandon my family or my friends in their hour of need, neither would I abandon my country! Cowards run when the going gets tough!

Besides, with the illusion that Obama did win, we Americans CAN and WILL handle our business! This I know!!!

Unlike Obama, we true Americans, love and will fight for America The Beautiful!!!|||No, Never. I would just have to keep on keeping on and Pray that he wouldn't get the next civil war started. He has a good start at it though. A Uniter? No a Divider is more like it.
