Why is the Liberals and Democrats allowing Obama to spend so much money in Iraq?

Now that this is Obama's war, why are the Liberals and Democrats allowing Obama to continue spending so much money on this war?Why is the Liberals and Democrats allowing Obama to spend so much money in Iraq?Obama can do no wrong. We have a president out of control and imbecile's supporting him.|||It's not Obama's war. It is Bush's war and it will always be Bush's war and it is taking money to clean it up. Our involvement has been reduced and the majority of troops will soon be leaving that is why the Democrats and liberals are allowing Obama to continue spending so much (but much less) money on this ill-advised, needless, counter-productive remnant of the failed conservative agenda.Why is the Liberals and Democrats allowing Obama to spend so much money in Iraq?To me, this question just goes back to why America went to Iraq in the first place? What was the reason? Of course, it probably wasn't about weapons of mass destruction, but what was it?



If it was about removing Saddam Hussein, then you would think the US would stay a while in the country until a new regime coalesced, and then just as quickly leave. Of course, if they country is in tatters, it might take awhile for a political solution to come together, but I'm not sure it takes 7 years.



If however the invasion was to get more control in the region, to establish bases and a more friendly regime there, then there might not be such and incentive to leave. Does America hope to make money by being there, or to influence Middle Eastern oil supplies? If that is the case, maybe the higher ups feel it is worth the cost to maintain a presence there.



Whatever the case, if everyone is so worried about the deficit, it would seem health care would be somewhat less troubling than military spending.|||Because this administration is notorious for power grabbing, limiting our freedoms, spending and printing money like a mad man, devaluing the dollar and spending us into bankruptcy! It isn't just the war they are spending it on. That is why T.E.A. Partys are popping up all over the place embracing the constitution and trying to take back our Republic! Please consider being active and help educate and take this country back! Some people are making lots of money from these wars, and those same people are using the US as a billy club to beat down their enemies.
