I'm not saying he'll fix it, be he sure as hell didn't cause it.|||So you're saying that Obama was captaining the ship BEFORE the economy hit the metaphorical iceberg then? That's just foolish, the economy had hit the iceberg LONG before Obama was sworn into office in January, 2009. If anything, a better metaphor would be Obama as the rescue ship after Bush ran the economy into the iceberg. I worked for my money and I darn sure don't want someone telling me I have to give up my hard-earned entitlements to give them to someone who chose another path.
And if the ship was made by US union labor, then it's shotty quality built at twice the cost it should have been, taking three times as long as it should have.|||By targeting federal funds at high-velocity areas (jobs where the workers spend the money locally and quickly, creating more demand, and thus more jobs) Obama's stimulus package will get us out of the recession faster, and with less harm to millions of families.
