Are all republicans bitter about Obama winning the election? Why are there so many negative comments about him?

I have notice that republicans feel strongly about Obama being unaware and inexperience. Or its just a race thing, and America can not believe a BLACK MAN won the election.

I seriously want to know, what is it about Obama that makes republicans so upset? |||We aren't upset because he's black. We're upset because he has no experience in any sort of politics whatsoever. He has 140something days of attendance in the Senate and only voted a few bills.

Nor does he have any military experience, or any leadership experience at all for that matter.

The media clearly wanted Obama to win and he did.

Reports show that an overwhelming majority of people remembered negative press about McCain and Palin, but not Obama.

Remember the comment Palin said about seeing Russia from her house?

I sure don't... Because it was Tina Fey from SNL who said that. Most of the idiots in the public though it was Palin... Just one of many examples.

|||I have been somewhat taken aback at the negative and, yes, racist comments that I have seen on Yahoo Answers regarding Obama.

The comments concerning his experience are understandable to an extent but the vitriol with which those comments are presented is ridiculous.

Some Republicans like to make comparisons to the criticism of Bush but they forget that Bush has done many things for which he should be criticized.

They also forget that Bush's presidency started with an extremely close election where Gore won the popular vote and Bush's vote numbers were highly questionable in a state where his brother was governor and the secretary of state was very biased. Also, the Supreme Court decision that decided the election in Bush's favor was split primarily along ideological lines and was a terrible decision.

Obama has none of those negatives that Bush had, yet some Republicans emphasize every association that he has had and exaggerate the actions of such associates or just plain lie about the nature of the relationship. Such exaggerations were not made about Bush associates, which in some cases were much closer and more detrimental to the public interest.

There is obviously a great deal of bitterness about Obama being expressed by some Republicans and it seems to have little or no basis. |||It isn't because he's black. The republicans tried to get Alan Keys (A black man and darker than Obama) to be president, but the Clintons shut him down by attacking everything about him.

The reason that the repubs have a problem with Obama is that he would never give details or take a stand on any issue. Just gave a lot of "I feel your pain" or "I understand what you are going through..." speeches, but never offered details and stuck by them. Every day it changes, you can't run any office in such a wishy washy way.|||It's obvious at this point that alot of Republicans are eager for him to fail. I think this is extremely f'ed up. When Bush rallied the people after 9/11 he had the support of most of this country. We didn't just decide to hate on him because he is a Republican. He earned the hatred of about 80% of this country and 90% of the planet. And yet Obama hasn't even been sworn in and there is a large group of people who have already decided he is the worst president in the history of mankind. It's childish and a disgrace, and those people should be ashamed of themselves. I wouldn't be surprised if some Rep politicians were already coming up with an impeachment plan for him. Grow up people, and show the patriotism you always talk about by supporting your president-elect.|||What do you expect? they are team of mavericks were ringing for months about how terrorist-lover Obama is and how he is maybe not a citizen, and his middle name is Hussein, and he might be a Muslim. for months and months. so here is a math for you:

Their hate to liberals + their hate to Muslims + their hate to Blacks + their hate to everything outside America = a big hate.

by the way, I don't condone terrorists. just in case someone read "the hate to Muslims" and think I'm defending the terrorists among Muslims.|||I'm a Republican, but I am not bitter. With regards to Obama, he hasn't done anything in his life to make me think he can accomplish much as president. That's why I didn't vote for him.

All politicians talk a good game. Obama talks better than most. However, the measure of his presidency will be what he does, not what he said. I sincerely hope I am wrong and that he does great things, but I am not optimistic.

If it makes any difference, I voted for McCain based on his experience, but I didn't have very high hopes for him either.|||It has nothing to do with race and all to do with his ideas, his lack of experience, his associations with the likes of William Ayres, Jeremiah Wright and Rod Blagojevich.

I am from Illinois and have known all along that Obama is dirty. There is no way that a person, black, white, or purple could have risen so far so fast in this state and the city of Chicago and done it honestly. There is just no way. The rest of the country doesn't know what they've gotten themsevles into when they elected a Chicago thug.to the White House. I'm just surprised it only took a little over a month after the election for any of it to come to light.

You can mark my words, Obama is messed up in this and a whole lot more.|||please, all the negative comments were on Palin. The media was terribly unfair, they portrayed Obama as a "god". And said Palin was inexperienced, well too bad Obama is less experienced then her, and is gonna **** the country over. He just got lucky. and Obama is only half black, i don't know why everyone only calls him black. I believe that because he's half black all the blacks voted for him even though they were uneducated on his beliefs.|||I love it when Libs keep bringing up race considering the only ones that cared about race were the "white guilt" crowd, blacks who voted for a mulatto 94% thinking he was black and the 132 white racists smart enough to figure out the voting process. It's laughable!!

He is just a very inexperienced guy who does not deserve to be the President. But, neither did W. who I think will go down in history as the worst president to date.

Libertarian 2012!!!|||Race just seems to keep coming from the left, just like during the campaign. My disgust with Braq is not skin color related. It is the manner in which he wants to destroy America.

Ted Kennedy, John Kerry, Hillary Clinton are not BLACK and I refuse to accept where they want to take us as well.

When will you liberal elites understand that you only hurt your case when YOU bring up race. It has everything to do with the Destruction of American Sovereignty not race.|||It's not JUST about Obama, and it's certainly not about race. Even though way too many Dems/libs want to make it so, because it's an easy thing to criticize the GOP for, and it's ridiculous.

There are so many facets to recent political issues, but the one on the table today says a lot. NBC refuses to identify the corrupt Gov Blagojevich from Chicago as a Democrat. ABC and CBS said he has "ties to the Democrat Party" not that he is a member. However, when Stevens of AK was in the news, all three identified him in every sentence spoken as a Republican.

It's the entire unfairness issue, including MY tax dollars being funneled to ACORN to buy votes for Obama, that are irritating.

AND, ALL THIS SHOULD BE A CONCERN TO EVERY AMERICAN, BECAUSE IT TAKES AWAY ALL OUR FREEDOMS. |||While in general hard right Republicans (as opposed to more moderate ones) are sore losers this time around, the reason you see so many of the bizzarro bitter comments and questions is because there are lots of trolls on Yahoo Answers, trying to trick helpful people into giving real answers to totally non-serious questions.|||I don't like Obama nor do I like Barney Frank, Speaker Pelosi or Both Clinton's. Obama DOESN'T stand for what this country was founded on: Hard work and a relaxed but affective government. He wants to cut a slab off of the top and add it to the bottom all while forgetting about the middle. I don't care if I sound like a broken record here but this pure, unadulterated socialism. The virtual segue from capitalist to communism. The main problem is that there are too many kids out there who know NOTHING except they heard it is cool to like Obama because he is black and wants change. And all these morons along with 96% of blacks pulled the lever blindly for Obama.|||trust me, we conservatives would be critisizing whether it's Obama, Hillary, whoever...do you recall how we lambasted Bill Clinton? HE'S WHITE!!!! it has zero to do with the color of his skin, it only has to do with the FACT that he's a socialist with marxist tendencies..sorry to rain on your little race parade, but the color of Obama's skin only mattered to the people who voted for him..|||Oh no, the Race thing again. How about the

fact that some people ignore Obama

is WHITE as well? As far as I am concerned,

a Bi Racial man won the election. Montel

and Oprah can keep saying first African

American forever but Obama has White

in him. Obama even called himself a mutt.

I only agreed with one thing of Obama's

policies. I am not bitter, I have just resigned

myself to the fact he won. I hope he can

do some good.

Which is more than what some Dems did

when Bush won in 2000, they were bitter

all 8 years.|||First, let me point out, Obama is HALF WHITE!!! Therefore, he is NOT the first Black President; he will be the first Multi-racial President once sworn into office!!! Now, I would have to assume, by your question, you have not been keeping up with what's going on; so I'll keep it short:

Obama LIED!!!! Obama is a LIAR!!!!!

Less than a week after the election, in a poll conducted, 76% of the Obama voters said "If we had known, we never would have voted for him." |||Most of the people you find angry about Obama are from red states that have it imbedded in them from their upbringing that all democrats are bad for the country.

I'm a democrat but i didn't vote for Obama, I voted for McCain.

Yesterday's denial by the Obama camp claiming they knew nothing about the senate seat he held being up for auction is bullcrap. It's a blatant lie. So he's no different than anyother scumbag politician and can't be counted on to tell the truth about a friggin thing.

There are laws on the books in every state to and including the federal criminal code that state. If you are aware of a crime being planned or committed you as a citizen are required to report it. Failure to do so is a felony offense under law.

Obama new what was going on and said nothing, didn't report it and thus broke the law.

While this may not seem serious to many people. It is serious because if he's capable of breaking that basic law what other law's has he ignored or broken or will ignore and break in the future.

Everyone of us is guilty of this type of violation of law at one time or another in our lifetime. Should we be held accountable for it? My answer is Yes.|||For me it isn't bitterness. It definitely isn't race. Race is the card Libs like to play because they are clueless.

I criticize Obama because I think he it a sleazy Chicago politician. I think he lied big time to get elected. But some of it is because of the Liberals treatment of Bush for the last eight years. What goes around comes around.

BTW try to find another card to play besides the race card. You will look less stupid.|||They are sad that a Democratic won really. They act like it was Prom Queen election and all they can do about it is humor themselves. That is why the two party system is flawed because Republican vs. Democrats are fighting and doin smear campaigns when they should be looking for a common goal.|||Why did you have to throw race into your question? Maybe many feel his qualifications and/or experience are "questionable" at best? Imagine that. No...I didn't vote for him...OR the GOP...I voted 3rd party for some of those reasons. Loved Obama's book (The Audacity of Hope) and find him to be a charismatic man with a unique life-story. Doesn't mean I want him for president.|||What made Democrats all full of hatred and bitterness when Bush won? 8 years of name calling and hatred beginning right after the election in 2000.

Take the race part out of the equation - many Republicans had been touting Condi Rice, Alan Keyes, and earlier on Colin Powell for President.|||Each person has their own reasons.

Like he's a Democrat, black, inexperienced, etc. A big problem with Republicans (conservatives) is that Obama wants to change things. Conservatives hate change, no matter how much it costs or how many lives it costs.|||because his history is, He hasn't Done anything! It's no surprise he is caught up in this new scandal, (of course he knows nothing about it.) by the way stating the problem every time you speak is not the answer. It has nothing to do with republicans or race.|||yea maybe we were mad about bush being elected in 2000 and 2004 but at least we can handle conflict and things not going our way.. u didnt see us plotting to kill bush and putting up signs saying "kill this cra***er or "im giving up my citizenship if bush wins"so i dont understand why they keep comparing the hate for obama from republicans to the hate for bush from the democrats..... we just excepted it and went on with our life ...so to all that hate obama i respect ur opinion but obama was already elected theres no changing that just give him a chance and he might make this country a better place!! FYI OBAMA IS NOT A MUSLIM HES NAMED AFTER HIS FATHER AND HIS FATER IS FROM KENYA THEY HAVE DIFFERENT NAMES THAN WE DO.|||Of course not. The only ones making these rancid comments are the racists of the religious right andneoconservatives. Not real Republicans,in fact. Those groups are the ones who hijacked the GOP and have all but destroyed it.|||he was the least qualified democratic candidate,he only said what people wanted to hear, not the truth, his picks already show he was a puppet for others. he is a dangerous person and the facts were there but so many refused to even look|||Its nothing to do with Obama, its just that they lost the election and they realized just how much America and the world hates them. Nothing too complicated, just shallow bitterness. |||What makes you think all the negatives are from Republicans? I'm not. %26amp; Barry didn't win 90% of the vote. There's a little less than half the country that didn't vote for him.

That there's a lotta folk.|||He's Black, lol. And most of the republicans are white and they thought that they were better than him and they were wrong.

IN THEIR FACES!!!!!!!!!!!|||you said it, he is unaware and inexperienced! you, my friend, are the one talking race!|||Did you think that once he was appointed we would all be happy that a inexperienced socialist/communist with shady friends is going to in charge of our govt. Did the Dems all of the sudden start being cooperative after Bush was elected to a second term? Think Not!

It is not his color!!! It is his character, his lack of experience, his 50+ lies, his long history of poor judgment, his affiliation with ACORN. His angry bitter wife. His complete lack of understanding of terrorists mentality.

Pisano, you bet I want his socialist policies and his ridiculous negotiating with terrorist plan to not be implemented. I want them to fail before they start. Otherwise, we are doomed. You cannot end socialism once it starts bc people will not be able to care for themselves and you can't get rid of terrorists once you let them in your country. Ask Great Britain about that one!
