After the 1994 elections, Clinton realized socialism would cost far more than it would gain and started doing things that were good for the economy. It is my belief that Obama knows that his socialist schemes will weaken America and that is his true goal. No one as intelligent as Obama is reported to be could possible be so wrong. This leads me to believe that Obama's goal is not to help America, but to weaken us. He knows that socialism is a disaster and that is what he intends for America.|||I believe that he has already wavered on his campaign promises and has shifted alot on what he said he was going to do with this economy yet we shall see what happens next if the dow keeps going down in the next few weeks.

When he found that they were dragging him down, he the expedient steps to keep from becoming irrelevant. Some chose to distance themselves from Clinton rather than compromise their principles; others joined with "Her Thighness" to create a "Shadow Cabinet" that then marginalized the President. (That is the reason that the attempt to kill Bin Ladin failed, Clinton was kept out of the operation until it was too late. He had no choice but to take the heat for the failure, or expose just how much he was removed from the job as President)|||Obama is a Commie Muslim and doesn't CARE about America.|||In practical terms, you are right that socialism is not good for our economy. However, Obama is not thinking in practical terms, nor is he thinking of our U.S.A. economy. Obama's rhetoric is emotional in nature and he thinks we are beholding to the world. He's interested in world power, so our nation doesn't mean very much to him.



If you listen to Hillary Clinton talk these days, she talks about being a "progressive". They're changing the words, but meaning the same thing as socialism.



Obama will not give up on his socialist/progressive fantasies. He is following (almost to the letter) the plan of action from Saul Alinsky's book, "Rules for Radicals".|||it's already too late within the term of this presidency to undo the damage that's already been reaped at the hands of this economic butcher and i seriously doubt bo has any desire to reverse the reality of what he's done.|||I think he is already starting to realize, he now wants government to find out how to save a few billion.
